THIMS is built on the open source platform. The server runs on Linux flavor and does not need any license for installing and running. Same is true for Database as well. Unlike using Microsoft OS for server and Microsoft Database will attract the cost to buy the licenses for the server installation.

- While Registration one can select the language of Patient he/she understand better, the instructions in Prescription will be printed accordingly. One can choose anyone language from English, Hindi and Indian Regional Language.
- To make Doctor’s screen more user-friendly and increased productivity, Diagnosis is linked to a set of medicines for prescription and instructions to patients.
- Few data sets will be entered while you speak and it will type for you (Speech to Text feature) will reduce time to enter the long data.
- If Doctor is entering medicines in Prescription and if Pharmacy is also using the same software, prescribed medicines will flow and Pharmacist need not enter the data again.
- Our software allows setting up different profiles as per specialty. The questionnaire and input details will appear as per the selection of a profile. The profile can be created such that data entry is minimized. A doctor can select the relevant option from the available possible list of options.
- The software has some profiles already created which can be directly used.

- If the hospital implements our OP and IP patient care modules, the doctor can view all the historical information from the system so that patient and hospital need not maintain physical case papers
- If pathology laboratory is part of the hospital, lab report can be directly viewed by a doctor in his consulting room and by Nurse inward avoiding paper-based report
- System generates alert to the nurse based on timelines set for taking any action or giving medicines to patient.
- All the relevant details provided as part of IP patient care, Care details entered by Nurse in the ward will get automatically populated in the IP Bill
- Room charges are also automatically populated I the IP bill
- Lab or Radiology service charges are also populated automatically in the IP bill (if they are part of the hospital)
- If various service charges are not getting populated automatically then also user can make entries in the IP bill daily or at regular interval so that very minimum entry required at the time of discharge.
- THIMS has proven functionality for revenue sharing. A patient can be assigned to a specific doctor or doctors and even specific service can be assigned to a specific doctor based on which doctor wise report can be generated for a selected period. If there are standard norms, revenue sharing is directly calculated by the software. This gives complete transparency and accuracy.
- THIMS allows creating multiple rate cards in a simple way and then linking specific rate card to any organization. Once the patient is linked to a specific organization, rates will be accordingly taken.
- Various MIS reports are generated by the software using which summary details for any selected period (day, week, month, quarter or even between any two dates) can be generated accurately and instantly. Your staff does not have to spend any extra time for the same.
